SIM TECH has released its latest business update, showing that in August 2026, revenue from its core operations reached HK$28.1 million, marking a substantial 87.3% increase compared to the previous month.
Additionally, non-core business revenue contributed HK$2.6 million, bringing the group's total unaudited revenue for the month to HK$30.6 million, a robust month-on-month growth of 74.5%.
For the first eight months of 2026, the company's cumulative revenue stood at approximately HK$239 million, reflecting a year-on-year decline of about 4.0%.
The notable surge in August core business revenue, relative to July, is primarily attributed to a significant uptick in both shipment volumes and average selling prices during the period. The non-core revenue, which largely consists of rental income, remained broadly consistent with the levels recorded in July.
The group's total revenue for the eight months ended August 31, 2026, saw a modest 4.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. While revenue from its core smart terminal ODM operations was roughly flat year-on-year, the overall revenue dip is mainly due to the discontinuation of its in-vehicle intelligent product business, which was halted in January 2026.
