Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed a repurchase of 500,000 ordinary shares on 3 September 2026, representing 0.0186% of its issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction.
The buyback, conducted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, was executed within a price range of HKD 2.66–2.69 per share, at a volume-weighted average price of HKD 2.676. Aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 1.34 million.
Post-transaction, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 2.69 billion, while treasury shares rose to 53.54 million. Total issued shares, including treasury shares, remained unchanged at 2.75 billion.
The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 26 June 2026, which authorises Zhongyu Energy to buy back up to 270.56 million shares. To date, 10.84 million shares—equivalent to 0.40% of the company’s issued share capital at the mandate date—have been repurchased under this authority.
In accordance with Hong Kong listing regulations, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing, selling, or transferring any treasury shares until 3 October 2026.
