The company repurchased 973,000 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging between HKD 5.175 and HKD 5.495, translating to a volume-weighted average price of HKD 5.3196. The aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 5.18 million.
Following the transaction, Bairong AI’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined from 372.86 million to 371.89 million, a 0.22% reduction. Treasury shares increased to 23.52 million, keeping total issued shares unchanged at 395.41 million.
The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 30 June 2026, under which the company is authorised to buy back up to 44.99 million shares. Including the latest transaction, cumulative buybacks under this mandate now total 5.38 million shares, or 1.19% of the company’s issued share count as at the mandate date.
In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Bairong AI is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 3 October 2026. The company confirmed all regulatory and corporate approvals for the repurchase have been obtained and no shares repurchased to date have been cancelled, with the entire amount held in treasury.
