The repurchases were made under shareholder mandates approved at the company’s annual general meetings held on May, 14 2025 and May, 28 2026. Prudential’s current buy-back authorities permit the repurchase of up to 252.8 million shares, of which about 826,250 shares have now been utilised. Following the latest cancellations, the company’s outstanding share count stands at 2,494,162,286.
