On 28 August 2026, MicroPort Scientific Corporation (“MicroPort”) announced a leadership transition that affects both its Board of Directors and key governance committees.
Dr. Qingbing Men stepped down as a Non-Executive Director, a member of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Strategic Committee, citing the need to devote more time to other business commitments. The company confirmed that Dr. Men leaves without disagreement with the Board and with no matters requiring shareholder attention.
Concurrent with the departure, Ms. Jing Huang was appointed Non-Executive Director, Audit Committee member and Strategic Committee Chair, effective the same day. Born in 1981, Ms. Huang brings more than 23 years of experience across investment management and human resources. She currently serves as Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Pudong Innovation Investment and Development (Group) Co., Ltd. Her prior roles include senior managerial positions at Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Pudong Science and Technology Innovation Group Co., Ltd.
Ms. Huang holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Science and Technology of China and a master’s degree in management from Shanghai University. She is a qualified Economist and, as of the announcement date, has no interest in MicroPort securities. Under her letter of appointment, she will serve without emolument and will be subject to rotation and re-election at future annual general meetings.
Post-transition, MicroPort’s board comprises one Executive Director (Dr. Zhaohua Chang), three Non-Executive Directors (Dr. Feng Gu, Ms. Jing Huang and Ms. Weiqin Sun) and four Independent Non-Executive Directors (Mr. Jonathan H. Chou, Dr. Guoen Liu, Mr. Chunyang Shao and Dr. Yingyao Chen).
The company expressed appreciation for Dr. Men’s contributions and extended a formal welcome to Ms. Huang as she assumes her new roles.
